Dyson doesn't deny it, he just doesn't think it's anything new.
So humans aren't new. They were around since the age of the dinosaurs. Does he think that Jesus rode a dinosaur to church as well? Does he believe that the KT event was the dinosaurs fault, because they didn't take the time to locate the asteroid and deflect it? Or does he just think that humans aren't part of nature and thus are exempt from the disaster causing business?
Talk about reality blinders.
The denial comes from "conservationists" who think extinction doesn't happen naturally or that "species" - of any sort - will last forever.
I guess it's just nature's way of suffocating the astronauts, and the astronauts shouldn't bother to check the carbon dioxide levels in the spacecraft. Better to ignore all that space junk as well, astronauts don't last forever you know.
Right now I'm thinking you have no idea how stupid you sound.
1) What's a 'conservationist'?
2) Who exactly are the 'conservationists'?
3) Which conservationists said that, exactly?
Or did you just read that in your memo?
