Let's see the Moravic mind uploading front is somewhat behind...

Fusion power...perennially 30-50 yrs from now

AI...AI notable Marvin Minsky had us on the threshold of AI in the 1970s, yes the 70s

Manned Missions to Mars...been 20 something years away since the late 1960s

THE cure for cancer...within the next decade or two since 1960

SETI...the next META, BETA, whatever will SO find those all so prevalent alien radio signals

The list is long. I would not worry about any implications of this 'real soon now*' technology

* a Microsoft software release trademark
