This is a list of members of Obama's famous "Auto Task Force," which meets behind closed doors:

• Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, secretary designate
• Secretary of Energy Steven Chu
• Director of the Office of Management and Budget Peter Orszag
• Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson
• Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Carol Browner
Listed as designees of the task force members:
• Diana Farrell, Deputy Director, National Economic Council

• Jared Bernstein, Chief Economist to Vice President Joe Biden
• Edward Montgomery, Senior Adviser, Department of Labor
• Lisa Heinzerling, Senior Climate Policy Counsel to the EPA Administrator

• Dan Utech, Senior Adviser to the Secretary of Energy
• Heather Zichal, Deputy Director, White House Office of Energy and Climate Change
• Joan DeBoer, Chief of Staff, Department of Transportation
• Rick Wade, Senior Adviser, Department of Commerce
You notice anything these people have in common? Is there some category missing from this group? I don't have the time to do an exhaustive search on all these names--I've gone through about half of them--but I'd bet cash not one person on this list has ever been within a mile of working in anything related to the auto industry, or even the private sector in general.
All career politicians, government bureaucrats, and academics, insulated their entire lives from the world of actually creating wealth. Feel free to show I'm wrong.
Most of the other "Task Forces" Obama has been bragging about haven't even had a meeting yet.
Barack Obama may or may not be a socialist. But he sure is doing the same things a socialist would do if we elected one as President. It's actions that count, not speeches declaring support for "private enterprise." Nixon was a Republican, yet he instituted wage and price controls.
