The situation was left unsettled
The Cylon friend Starbuck fixed so he would have some kind of
companionship died defending Starbuck from three Cylons who
landed on his world of unintended exile. So Starbuck survived but
he was alone again, naturally.
I don't recall how Starbuck got or made food, as the place he was in
looked pretty desert-like. We last saw him sitting alone with no obvious
hope of rescue after his robot friend's demise, and the "angelic" being
he helped gave him some kind of blessing and then flew off - thanks a
lot, lady!
Seeing as Starbuck was definitely an extroverted kind of guy, one has
to wonder how long he did last all by himself even if there was enough
food and water.
