there are dangers from any form of extremism. I was just addressing this silly video which clearly didn't show anyone normal people needed to worry about.

I haven't seen any studies but I would be willing to be big bucks that if one looks at the number or incidents and the amount of damage or loss of life from violent extremism from either the right or left in this country, there's no match. The incident you list is extremely isolated from left wing groups and you see no real leadership out there compelling them to take extreme actions.

I wish I could say the same thing for right wing extremist morons. There is a huge tendency for them to land more on the redneck side, be into guns and armament, carry their bigotry towards others to extremes, and engage in hateful rhetoric.

Even when extremist left wing groups do use bombings and sabotage to get their message across (and I am in no way advocating it) rarely is there loss of life or injury of other humans. They tend to do their dirty work when nobody's in the facilities they target. Tell me that's so when right wing nut jobs target abortion clinics, murder abortion doctors, or murder or injure gays.

Let's put it this way. You're driving through some town and run out of gas. What neighborhood would you prefer to have to get out and ask for help, one where the preponderance of people there were skinheads or treehuggers?
