Let's put it this way. You're driving through some town and run out of gas. What neighborhood would you prefer to have to get out and ask for help, one where the preponderance of people there were skinheads or treehuggers?

Need more detail...is it a nice big & shiny SUV one is driving when one runs out of gas? Or is it a clean and small hybrid econo-car?

That'll make a big difference.
