I just think it is a funny site and somewhat on topic. I picked on you because you mentioned black friends and I figured you would get a kick out of it. To be more serious....
It is difficult to know how you will be taken when dealing with acquaintances of different background. Friends should be friends.
It seems appropriate to me, to say and do the same with everyone, and hope for the best. I would not invite my black friends over to watch that clip because it would seem contrived but I would laugh if we were coincidentally shown the clip while together. If they are really friends it would not be misunderstood, if they are casual acquaintances you never know.
It is harder here, you can type out something and it is taken entirely different than how you meant it. Without smiles, guffaws, verbal and none verbal cues, communication can sometimes be very difficult.
I always precede chides with Now, Now, and if my point is ambiguous there probably wasn't one. :)
