As a true CA native....

...that's my birthright.

Believe me, it saddens me to no ends. I have many glorious memories of CA. There was a time when the bureaucracy, police and nanny states weren't yet too big for their britches. When CA was the cutting edge of progress scientifically, culturally and spiritually.

Those days are long gone. The police state is real now in CA. But it needs to be because the state is now a refugee bin and the crime the refugees bring with them needs policing.

God help you now if you use lots of electricity, water and gasoline in CA. God help you if you have lots of collector cars. God help you if you get tired of being used for revenue generation with little return.

Basically, god help you if you have some money in CA - you might as well be wearing a bullseye on your bank accounts for the politicians and their bureaucracy to target. I remember when they started calculating registration fees on a car's estimated "value". Suddenly a vintage 50s car jumps from 35 dollars a year to 300 dollars the next. Revealing the lie that they only wanted to take more money for people buying new cars and adding a burden to the highway system.

When I found myself spending 5 grand a year on checks to the DMV just to register cars that might accumulate 100 or 200 miles per year, I realized something was seriously wrong with CA. They wanted to punish people who had more. They wanted to drive them away - or loot them. When electric bills suddenly top 1000.00 each month for the same electricity that used to cost $300, you realize that you are slipping backwards - paying more for living smaller. As congestion increases time travel rates - you suddenly realize your practical range of living is decreasing with each few year interval. Time is the steady thing the politicians have robbed from each CA by failing to curb the illegal immigration and by failing to prepare for the future.

At some point politicians realized they could make themselves ever more important, by providing LESS. By making sure that resources were squandered, infrastructure neglected - and by flooding the state with illegals so that those same resources were ever more coveted.

At that point the CA lifestyle ended. In lieu of promising more QOL - it promised less.

Haven't you noticed it?

My god - every year, for at least twenty years now, CA has promised less and less. In fact, they promise hardship and predict worse so that you bless them for the hardship. Water shortages, fuel shortages, electricity shortages - and the most farcical of all - revenue shortages.

Crime, congestion, failing schools, smog, fees, tolls, fines, regulations, annexations and more.

"Doom is coming by 2015 so enjoy Nightmare that has been in effect since 2002."

The leftist bureaucrats killed CA - I'll never forgive them that.

And as goes CA so goes the nation. Now every politician promises LESS and expects to become more powerful. Obama is a case ion point. They used to promise MORE - more parks, more schools, more prosperity and more QOL. The only ones they promise that too are the illegals and their descendants whose relatives are still living in mud huts and find the ghetto now known as CA a safe heaven on Earth.

Abundance isn't on the agenda. Intelligence is not on the agenda.

Poverty, stupidity and power for the few ARE on the agenda.
