The CDC says about 36,000 people a year die from flu-related illnesses. And still it's hard to get people to get flu shots every year.

This flu outbreak is something to keep a close eye on, but some of this is sheer hysterical hype. To look at the Drudge site, you'd think "Captain Trips" was on the loose.
