YouTube is a lousy place to get information.
I did a little research once on demographics and Muslims, but had a very difficult time finding ANY information that didn't come from somebody with a major axe to grind. I'm still not sure what's accurate or not.
It is true that demographics favors lively immigrant populations that have lots of kids, but beyond that obvious point, it gets very complicated.
Europe's main problem with Muslims isn't so much that they're Muslim, it's that parts of Europe have a lousy record of integrating immigrants into their societies. The result is a forced underclass that is a hotbed for trouble. The same would be true of any ethnic group.
The U.S. succeeded because we were a melting pot, making Americans out of immigrants, and absorbing a lot of good things from each culture that joined us. It's why I got such a kick out of someone using the term "non-American names." There AREN'T any.
It's fun to research how MUCH of "American" culture and language came from places other than England.
Right now, we are in danger of encouraging the same cultural isolation in our immigrants that Europe is. People aren't American, they're hyphenated.
