The US was founded on the principles of human and civil rights.

There should be something in everyone which says "beyond this line I will not go". Everyone should raise there children to be aware of that line. There is no repeat no credible evidence of any 'ticking bombs' and waterboarding a person 183 times is pure, punitive torture.

If the perps are so sure they were correct there is no problem with public exposure.

Compare this reaction to the Conservative reaction to the Valerie Plame outing, the latter a legitimate undercover CIA operative. It would make a nice paper for Remedial Hypocrisy, or "How to lose respect for a person's intellectual honesty".
