I question my mother's compliments now....because she never did as I was growing up.
I figure she wants something...sad...
...and it can hurt my feelings big time when I don't get a compliment when I get all dolled up. I went to a Christmas party once with Fox...and I was a *9*...black velvet off the shoulder little number...NOT ONE WORD from Fox.
Sadly...women remember these things.
When all else fails I lower my expectations...but not until I have had my feelings hurt first.
