Is that the best aerodynamic shape for craft that have been reported
to move at very high speeds through Earth's atmosphere?
I am well aware that the UFO report which started it all, when Kenneth
Arnold saw nine objects in the sky acting like what he called saucers
skipping across the water, in June of 1947, got the public thinking and
calling most UFOs as flying saucers.
But note that in his other descriptions of the UFOs, Arnold was referring
to them ACTING like discs skipped across water. He actually described
the UFOs as being shaped more like curved boomerangs.
See here - this shape at least makes more sense to cut through the air:

Why are most UFOs reported as disc shaped?
