It does not matter where they come from
A vehicle flying through Earth's lower atmosphere has to contend with
hitting air molecules at thousands of miles per hour.
I am sure you and others can come up with all sorts of reasons why
and how this little physics problem can be avoided, but the fact is the
situation remains for anything having to traverse through our air.
