But how long can this world sustain billions of cars and all that goes
with them to keep them going? I would rather have something at least
useful in place instead of finding out the hard way one day that
whoever runs the car business can no longer handle it.

I wouldn't mind seeing the old train system come back, but maybe I am
just being nostalgic.

Transporters - that's the next Star Trek inspiration we need to make a reality.
