And the largest growing demographic, which she was picked to pander to, is the most racist of all.
So Obama makes his play towards a group that will pave his parties re-election. It's wonderful for him, it's wonderful for the other racists out there whose identity is inseparable from their race, but it's not wonderful for the nation.
We live in an increaingly racist world. The future doesn't bode well because the racists among us view their racism as a good thing.
The Sotomayers and the hispanic demographic feel their race has been abused, neglected and stereotyped. This is supposed to make them proud.
Think about that for a second.
Is a white person supposed to feel proud when a white is elected to office?
Any white that would, would be angrily denounced as a racist. And they would be correct. Who cares about the race, it's the person that matters.
So it's a subtle admission that 'minorities' are largely racist and still judge others based upon their race. That their pride in their race should be pandered too and that this pride will translate into votes and power for the panderer.
It's quite an insult to the hispanic community. It is devastatingly patronizing and belittling. But the community eats it up like hot buttered cornbread. It's hardly better than the sombrero adorned Mexican slouching against the wall enjoying siesta which for almost a century was used to depict the Mexican work ethic.
So Sotomayer will be confirmed, Obama and the power grabbers will be happy they have secured more votes and care not a whit about the ramifications of this action. They are temporal players who seek power now - in the time they can enjoy it - What happens 10, 20 or even 50 years from now as a result of their policies is completely unimportant to them.
A US nation composed of racist hispanics, legislating from the bench based upon their racial experiencess, can quickly mimic some 3rd world nations and their level of race 'enlightenment'.
Supposedly we want to move away from racism. Supposedly we are supposed to promote those who do not use race as a determiner. Supposedly we are supposed to be making racism obsolete.
Unfortunately, we are now just strengthening racism, by pandering to those who still cannot divorce themselves from their race. The result will be a return to indoctrinated racism, hate and violence. That's the amusing irony of the DNC and their oxymoronic agenda and actions. They make sure the reverse of all their supposed goals get met:
Increased poverty
The merging of government and industry
Increased racism
Increased discrimination
Diminishing the power of the average American.
The masses they exploit are not quite sharp enough to realize they have been played as patsys. They are too busy rejoicing in others apparent misfortune and their increased 'representation'. Only those few who try to take that 'certificate of recognition' to the bank will find out it is completely worthless and, if they are a bit sharper, realize they have been exploited and made even weaker.

- She is. But so is 40 percent of the US electorate.
- If Gingrich and Limbaugh oppose her, that is a good reason to vote FOR her.
- Well if "La Raza" isn't a racist organization, I don't know what would be.
- The GOP is playing the race card
