One of the reasons I left America in 2001 was the developing
Ostrich, head-in-the-sand approach to major issues of the day.
Terrorism was one of them,
Next time terrorists will kill millions of Americans not thousands.
-Petroleum depletion is another,
Petroleum is a depleting resource around the world.
-Water depletion.
-Environment change [its happening]
-Narcotics epidemic.
-Immigration influx.
-Ballooning deficit & national debt.
None of these issues has been met by American resolve or unity of purpose.
Instead I read of bickering, distrust and more bickering and selfish agendas.
America has not had the problem of struggling to overcome with its back against the wall, proverbially
speaking, with these three exceptions: 1776-1781, 1863, 1933.
Since then, if the bickering, ranting and venting on this website are any indication of America as a whole,
America is in real trouble.
Some grave decisions Americans aren't going to have to make soon.
