Actually, I recall the correct word is 'Initiative' if it involves
the voter directly voting on a new proposed law that they want.
But I would use the word referendum, since it would
involve laws, directives and agenda prepared by the governemt
to be put to the voters to approve or reject.
I would hope President Obama is wise enough to know America is in
trouble if it, and he, does and do not make the 'tough' and controversial choices that need to be made.
So, it should be up to the voters in November, 2010 to either approve
or reject the controversial agenda and policy direction items
put top them by Obama's team.
There maybe more grave issues America is facing than what I've listed,
but America is facing a lot of very serious and dangerous problems
that have to be dealt with, and each to be dealt with in a a manner that
many Americans will hate, but at least they will have the right
to vote against or for the means to solve each of the problems
Binary solutions? Why not? The computer you use does very well
with an either-or system that we call binary.
