Now I just stumbled across this site so I have not done any follow up on this information but it's interesting none the less.

Let me state that I'm fully aware that the true cost of a medication is not just in the chemicals and processing that goes into making it. The costs of research and testing must be counted in each pill sold. I have no idea how much more would be added into any of these based on those criteria.

All I can do is guess that even with those hidden costs factored in, the profits on those medications are still through the roof.

I'm also switching my pharmacy from Walgreens to Costco.
