Intelligence, eloquence, charisma, incredible political instincts and solid experience even before he got into the White House. He left the country a better place than when he found it, and it declined catastrophically soon after he left. And his popularity with the people and overseas remains undiminished. One can only wonder how much more he could have accomplished if it hadn't have been for the petty and unprincipled resistance he was faced with from those who sought to undermine his record to advance their own self-serving agendas.
Well, they failed. And when they took power after he left they failed again. The very fact they still spit on the ground every time his name gets mentioned is all the evidence we need to document the success of his presidency.
