Biological Relationships Are Based On Homology, Not Analogy.
Example: the long bones in the arms and legs of all amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and birds have the same fundamental structure, although used for different purposes. This is homology.
Whereas, the wings of insects and vertebrates perform the same function, although structurally they have nothing in common. That is analogy.
