There were many other cameras,
and they all worked inside the circle. The camera malfunctioned on the other side of the island as well. It's old, and abused, and was fogged up before it wouldn't work. Salt air is no good for electronics. Nobody's pictures have orbs, or colored lights, or any of that.
I was just making circles, Lindy. There is a satisfaction I get from a geometric proof, or closing a traverse with little error; I can even find a 3D trig problem entertaining.
If you set your mind to it, given your years of study, I'll bet you could create a circle that could convince your peers.
