re: That's rather pretentious of you

I run in elite circles....what can I tell you?.......;~)

Yeah, I'm used to ALL my theories, and those of my colleagues or friends being harangued, so I'm protective. I can remember the re-action I got with Dr. Masuru Emoto's work. ANY work here on consciousness and the nature of the universe is ridiculed. Yet this is where quantum physics leads.

As for orbs, there's more there than just "dust" or moisture.
>"your ideas are far more theological than scientific." THEORETICAL is more like it at this stage. But I'm not about to go into my files, and the people who take the most incredible photos because they capture "energy" around themselves and others. So for the time being, while I'm compiling research, please feel free to think that ALL orbs in ALL photos are just specks of dust and moisture.

I brought up the work of Dr. Amit Gotswami, a theoretical physicist TWICE here and not one got involved in the thread.

>"Goswami developed an idealist interpretation of quantum mechanics, ... he claims that universal consciousness, not matter, is the ground of all existence. Consciousness, deemed as the precursor of physicality, arises from conscious observation through a process intimately connected to wavefunction collapse in a quantum measurement. "

I have worked with some of the best doctors researching the nature of consciousness since the mid 1970's and I am familiar with their research and some pretty unusual cases. It would take almost the same of amount of time to review some of this, let alone EXPLAIN it. Because basically it is still a new science. There is no scientific model for it right now, but it DOES follow a certain criteria, and it HAS it's usual parameters.

You and Podrock ask the best questions and present the best arguments because you both are open to discussing it. There are others who present an open and shut case because of their beliefs, and not because of any knowledge. Getting shut down like that is the reason I prefer not to discuss it in depth.
