I believe Shatner was completely inappropriate.

I also believe the host found him inappropriate, too. I do not think his "performance" was an premeditated act. I don't think he would have been allowed on the program if they knew he would do anything like he did.

And I think he was drunker than hell. Any normal drinker would have fallen asleep long, long before that.

That's what I think.
