I had heard Shatner was a bit of a prick too, and we had high security when he was visiting. I got to chat with him alone over an hour the first night, and managed to give him one of my research articles the next. He told me Sebring was a "magical place". He was there racing. Well, he has a new book out and I fully expect him to use my article as the basis for one of his short stories. If so, I'll have to send him a note.
