The crop circles or the hoaxers?
Answer:
The crop circles.
They were around before Doug and Dave and the likes of Matthew Williams and his co-horts.
They were around in the 1920's in both Canada and the UK, for instance, and there are records going back a couple of hundred years.
Certainly not the elaborate looking hoaxes that so thrill the tourist industry and modern day croppies.
