re: Looking for the pivot point

Here a close up ground shot of one of the semi-circles.
As you can see, the wheat is split and moves down on either side of the "code".
Look at the fourth photo down. There are some other ground shots where this code goes into a square from a spiral and then down next to nothing. Making this type of tiny design would require hoaxers to carry various sizes of planked wood that would seamlessly have to exchange to get into those tight, tiny spaces.

There are over 40,000 crop circles reported in almost 40 different countries and these are not all man made.

>"Dr. Gerald S. Hawkins, former chair of Boston University's astronomy department discerned that some of the most visually striking of the crop-circle patterns embodied geometric theorems that express specific numerical relationships among the areas of various circles, triangles, and other shapes making up the patterns. In one case, an equilateral triangle fitted between an outer and an inner circle. It turned out that the area of the outer circle is precisely four times that of the inner circle. Three other patterns also displayed exact numerical relationships, all of them involving a diatonic or musical ratio discussed earlier. These designs evidence the astute mathematical ability of the Circle Makers. Hawkins found that he could use the principles of Euclidean geometry to prove four theorems derived from the relationships among the areas depicted in crop circles. He also discovered a fifth, more general theorem, from which he could derive the other four. All geometries resulted in diatonic ratios." (John Umana, J.D., Ph.D. )

Look at the groundshot, fourth one <down.>
