You're impatient, but you should learn to take the long view. Four decades is not in fact a long time in the life of a country or a civilization. Nor is it surprising given the rousing success and enduring popularity of the Roosevelt administration that founded the four-decade dynasty. You have to admit that for all the terabytes attempting to tarnish the reputation of Roosevelt, the Right has not really dimmed his luster much at all. Roosevelt's been popular and remembered fondly for seven decades despite the Right. And speaking of hypocrisy, the Right was hoping to build its permanent majority on the legacy of Reagan. What exactly are Democrats doing differently than Republicans that gives you traction for criticism?
