Great!
Doesn't for me, the five houses I've bought over the years? Saved up the down payment (never less than 20%!) Went through a local lender, and had an agreement they didn't sell off my note. Never looked at a house as a profit making deal. It was a place to live until I had to move or found something better.
I don't have much of a credit score, because I hardly ever used credit. Do I drive a nice shiny new car? Nope. Have a lot of toys to play with? Nope.
I have a decent place to live, a reliable vehicle, enough to eat, clothes to wear, a little left over sometimes to do what I want to do. When you exist at my wage level, you learn quick, or things can become .. interesting.. in ways you wouldn't like.
DO I have a stack of bills flooding my mail-box every month? Hell No!
