It's unsettling. We have no privacy anymore. Eventually our shopping habits will be merged with other private information about us, the vehicle we drive, the size of our family, the approximate value of the house we live in, what we owe, what we make, if we've been arrested, in the hospital, have a disease, our political affiliation, etc....all on one card profile.
You can blame the money changers and the money makers that work for them. Like pond scum.... all of them, with the banks as the bottom feeders. Of course, they've been trying to get us into a cashless society and get us to use the "smart card" with the chip. And this may be the way we are moving towards.
I found about themoneymasters.com last night, and read through some of their website. When I found all the well spoken comments from some of the best economists, I went to google to see if I could find their video (on the site it says it's copyrighted and not available on the web). Well, it IS.
22 clips of 10 minutes each. And I got through an hour last night, and it will piss you off, make you mad. Some of it is so obvious. But how do we get out of it. Many kings, queens, presidents have tried taking the money back over the years. Here, start with the education on the Federal reserve, which is neither "federal", not has many "reserves".
