Crazy? It won’t look so crazy when GM fails, America is trillions in debt and we still have unemployed that need help. It won’t look so crazy when we realize the bailout money went to the wrong hands. It should have gone into the hands of the people, not into the hands of those who waste so much money to begin with.
There is a reason GM failed. I can’t see throwing money at them is going to fix the reason they are failing. It is just going to prolong the enviable, unless we want to make them a black hole of government funding. If seeing that makes me crazy, then I guess I am crazy.
I do hope you guys are right. I will gladly be wrong on this one. I hope I am crazy and you guys are the sane ones. This economy need to turn around, but I still think we are on the wrong path. We’ll see what happens.
My fear is, when it is all said and done, out of all these trillions we spend, so much will be wasted. We’ll still have failed companies, because throwing money at them did address the real reason they failed. We’ll have huge unemployment, and no money left to help them.
Is it crazy to think the money should go back to the people, as we could stimulate the economy much better than those who waste so much money to begin with?

We'll see. I do hope you are right.
