Space/Science » in reply to Refrigerator that doesn't use electricity

hardly sustainable when it uses cooking fires for energy

If human beings could have the discipline and knowledge to understand the necessity of birth control when access to resources is limited, virtually all problems related to poverty would fade away. The irony is that the highest birthrate is always connected to the poorest and usually most uneducated/ignorant people. This makes poverty sustainable not cooking fires that resource limited people use.

I do think there is a place for such innovation as this refrigerator and it may find beneficial and widespread use. If this refrigerator was designed to be heated by some sort of cheap solar concentrator I would be more impressed
