As I have already painstakingly tried to explain below, the source is William Forstchen, not whoever the hell is quoting his work on this site.

I snapped the post off because it was an interesting article. I didn't give much thought to the website, because I assumed most people could get past that. I was wrong, and will append a less-confusing link to the original post.
