Doesn't bother me

Based on my experience the men are portrayed accurately.

I don't know the percentages but it seems to me that at the consumer level men are pawns of women more often than not. Women pay the bills, goad the men into making decisions on things like insurance, etc., and generally run the family operation. The majority of men I have known are childlike to some extent.

I may be childlike in some ways (I like my toys) but I am a control freak and I pretty much do everything in my family. At my present age I often wish it were not so.

As for intelligence levels, they are measured on a bell curve and the curve is steep. There are huge numbers of average to eversoslightly above average and an equal number of slightly below average. Really smart people are at a premium. We are surrounded by the not so smart.

Humanity is like an impressionist painting. Viewed properly, it is a great work of art, but it gets to be a mess if you get too close.
