And support research into alternative forms of energy to reduce emmisions rather than arbitrary regulations. I don't support regulations that don't have any realistic cost basis to perform a cost benefit analysis on except for simple straighforward things like don't kill endagered animals or dump toxic chemicals into the environment. CO2 is not being produced at a toxic level and it is a gradual process near term. Unfortunately we've wasted almost two decades of opportunity to address this issue do to the aversion to science and any new form of regulation so common in the Republican party. Fighting this problem needs to be a priority over the next decade.
