Behavior and interest was OK, but his little legs wore out with the back and forth schedule they gave us from one side to the other of capital hill. Saw 5 aides, all supported the human space program, all seemed to see the importance of NASA doing things that inspire Math and Science interest, but all were noncommital as far as the objectives. Off course we were so rushed we didn't have time to do much more than present the goals and answer questions in response.

I'm missing Squayres speak so my son can play farmtown after a day of being highly constrained and doing his best to tough it out. A passion for Mars is not one of the many traits he shares with Dad, and it doesn't look like this conference is going to ignite a fire under his mild interest in space. Still hoping the air and space museum will increase his interest, but not counting on it. He loved the natural history museum, but he's more of a biologist than astronomer in interests.
