Are you saying ground confirmations will also be necessary for Kepler?

I had read that thread, but had assumed Kepler could independently confirm extrasolars without ground confirmation (due to increased capabilty). I don't think Kepler could meet its goals, if constrained by the current pace of ground confirmations.
