Convert from what?

alcaray — 8/8/2009 2:55:54 AM (archived)

It has to be in a format that a browser can render as graphics (or a link to such a thing). For instance, I just opened (using MS Hotmail) some junk mail I got from Charter Communications. It has a graphical header at the top of the email (I had to select "show content" to see it). If I right click it and go to properties, it tells me that the banner resolves to:

which is a jpeg. If I right click it and select "copy", then go to my desktop, right-click and select paste it creates "9729_header[1].jpg" on my desktop. If I doubleclick that, it launches Microsoft Office Picture Manager and displays the "VH1 DIVAS" "Live it with Charter" banner.

PS: I hate Charter Communications!
