Teens on antidepressants are twice as likely to commit suicide. One thing several school shooters have in common is the used of these drugs. Mental illness takes a back seat to other government needs. Who knows if this will ever be addressed.
A government search of social media postings to look for warning signs and easier access to agencies to report threats might have some impact.
