It's glaringly obvious the other side of the equation gets no attention. I agree with all you said about businesses being a cause. Jobs are a magnet for migrants, but so are the services they receive for free at the expense of the American people.
My wife spent 15 minutes in the emergency room for a dog bite on her finger the other day. One antibiotic, Neosporin, a tetanus shot. and a bandage cost me personally $800. I can't blame migrants for how fucked up our healthcare system is but they certainly add to the cost.
Obama shares the blame with past administrations. This problem of illegal immigration (and it is a problem) has been ignored for too long. Do you know how many are truly refugees and how many just jumped on the trains seeing an opportunity? No, you don't.
It's a shame refugees can't apply within their home countries. I think you'd see a drop in illegal crossings.
