This incident has shaken the Right.
I've already heard several spokesmen for the GOP trying to make excuses for this little condescending snot-nosed punk.
They know the "optics" of this incident are terrible for their side, a bunch of hooting, MAGAhatted sneering preppies. What a contrast with the "crisis actors" from Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High, eh? And its not just that the preppies are all white...they are in uniform! They came looking for a fight.
Maybe the red hat and the brown shirt aren't exactly equivalent, but the similarities are much more significant than the differences.
