A bit more from Krugman.

Suddenly the deadline for the annihilation of the Milky Way Galaxy on August 2 isn't quite so big a deal after all. Not when leftist politics is at stake.

Those "legal options" Krugman mentions are interesting. The Left is calling for Obama to simply single-handedly raise the limit by decree.
