Keep spinning

On Sunday, California Secretary of State Alex Padilla issued guidance to county elections officials explaining that the fake ballot box scheme is “prohibited by state law.” He added that participants may be guilty of election fraud, a felony offense punishable by two to four years in prison. In an email on Monday, Padilla told me he is “coordinating with local officials to address the multiple reports of unauthorized ballot drop boxes.”

If you give your ballot to another person to deliver for you, you have to sign it indicating they are indeed authorized to do that for you...

the ballot envelope contains a section that must be filled out by the voter indicating the name of the person authorized to return their ballot, and the relationship (if any) to the voter. The individual returning the ballot must sign in this section.

This would be impossible to do when dropped in a box with no knowledge of who would be handling its contents. The ballots put in those boxes would not be legally acceptable.

Putting out a box and mislabeling it as an "official" ballot drop box, when it absolutely is NOT is fraud.

Republicans need the election to be as tainted as possible to lay groundwork for legal challenges- and if the Democrats are not playing dirty, then the Republicans will supply the corruption themselves... all that matters to them is that the democratic process appears hopelessly corrupted so the decision can go to the courts they have packed...

But I am sure you will find some way to excuse it... Those ethical contortions seem to be all you use your intellect for these days.
