This is all a diversion, a distraction, a smokescreen. Its designed to fool us, or someone, its a decoy of some sort.
I've spent most of my life thinking about aliens, their civilizations, their technology and how they might or might not interact with us. The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that they will be STRANGE. They will be so far from us in time, space, and their biology will be so different from us we simply will not be able to make sense of them. I think it was Clarke who said "any sufficiently advanced technology will appear to us indistinguishable from magic". Can you imagine how a helicopter would look or sound like to a Neanderthal?
When I hear terms like "ships", "craft", "bodies" or "technology" they just don't sound STRANGE enough for me. They just sound like made up stories that are designed to fool someone who thinks they know what the saucer people will be like. They just don't ring true; like those aliens in 1950s sci-fi movies, humanoid guys in rubber suits speaking slightly accented English in monotone voices.
Can I prove this? Of course not. But that's my whole point. Real aliens and their tech will not only be stranger than we think, they'll be stranger than we CAN think. And can you imagine our government, any government, keeping a secret like this for decades? I just don't buy a word of it.
I think these aliens are all about global warming. No, global warming doesn't cause aliens, or vice versa. But if we are stirred up by ridiculous alien tales legitimized by official hearings and a Trump friendly Congress we'll be too busy to talk about real problems...like global warming, or thermonuclear war, or a fascist coup d'etat.
Its all propaganda. Its not propaganda designed to make us believe something that isn't true. Its propaganda designed to make us give up on even listening any more.
