Let's point out a few facts that are sometimes ignored:
Gaza is and has been an independent Palestinian state for about 20years. Anyone who thinks Israel can acheive peace by granting Palestinians another independent state on the West Bank can look to the history of Gaza and its Hamas rulers.
Hamas has captured Israeli civilians and is holding them hostage and parading them through the streets of Gaza. Anyone who thinks Israeli civilians would be safe under palestinian rule can look at this and countless other attacks on civilians.
If Hamas ever got its hands on a nuclear device there is a 100% probablility they would use it on Tel Aviv.
Netanyahu will undoubtedly use this attack to further his anti-democratic policies in Israel.
Yes this will get much much worse before it all ends.
