The last work on FTL I remember was the Alcubierre drive

The math worked, but the energy came from Unobtanium. Rockets are never going to get us to the stars. We should continue the theoretical work in hopes the timeframe to reality is less than centuries.

I think we should stick to probes, landers, and tech like the JWT. Expand our knowledge, not territory. I don't see a need for humans in space other than national pride, or ego.
