When you access My Tiki, there is a section that lists unread messages. When you read the message it disappears since it is no longer unread.
At the top there are 13 buttons, the 4th button is messages. When you click on that button, it opens a page that lists all the messages you have received and not deleted. It also has options to compose and send messages.
They are not public domain, they can not be read or modified by editors. Nothing in the My Tiki section can be viewed or modified by editors.
Also, in the preferences section, you can choose whether or not to allow messages and whether or not you are to be notified at the email address you provided when you registered.
Your address for the onsite messages is your user name. The email you provided at registration is private to all but Robert, unless you choose to make it public in the preferences section.
There is also a button that refers to Web Mail. This feature has not been activated. If it were ever activated you would have the option of using it as a mail client similar to Outlook Express. Like all the My Tiki things it would be completely private.
