I haven't used these forums nearly as much as you guys, and reading you complain about it really makes the software's awfulness come alive for me.

Sounds awful to confess that I haven't been using the forums much, but I think the new UI is something of a mitigating circumstance. Come to think of it, I've avoided this software by actually using the new UI to post the last few times. It works that well, though still has many rough edges. One thing I'd particularly like feedback on is the technique for displaying message body text, and the relevant controls such as "reply", right there in the (tree-shaped) table of contents inline with the message subject line (that'll make more sense when you see it in action). Your experiences really highlight what I endeavored to fix with that technique--you can't reply to the wrong post because even the editor comes up inline, right there next to the message to which you're replying.

Or maybe it won't work as well as my theory says. It's far enough along that I need your feedback to take it all the way. Could ya take a look?
