It's begun better than some of the other spin-offs. I can see many, many story lines with the plot setting.
Each week they stop at another planet or some such as the ship finds another stargate, checks for whatever is needed and drops out of FTL.
A few weak spots in the cast, but they may step up as the show finds its way. The 'whiz-kid' is one character that needs better definition, but I did see some improvement as the show progressed.
