The orange is part of the stock Planetfall design, and I could change it. Good suggestion, even if tongued-in-cheeky, to vary the colors seasonally. I could set it up in winter so that posts you've read are green, and unread posts red. Which reminded me to check this TOC to see if it's reflecting read/unread status, and damn if it isn't. There's a fix for that; DamnTikiWiki tracks reads in a database.

Text size is forever a problem because of the combinations of display hardware and settings possible. In addition to the drastic step of abandoning Planetfall, you can always adjust your browser's text size (called "zoom" in FireFox). The TOC is just ordinary TOC and doesn't resist, as some do. On my list under nice-to-have is a way for you to switch text size. But I have a few more burning issues to pee on first.
